Snowqueen's tagged me to write a letter to my 13yo self, of course that was only about five to six years ago but I'm sure I can manage. Check hers out, it's good.
Dear Bec,
First off, worry less, stress less, be more confident. You'd be surprised to know that you've actually succeeded in your goals, and you're well on your way to a huge adventure. Because you haven't given up on your dreams, and because you haven't let people and situations get on top of you you're actually going to become a Doctor. It'll take an extra year but you're going to love that year more than any previous.
Keep on questioning your religious leaders, you'd be shocked to know your stance on religion in the future compared to what it is now. Read that bible, read it and pick out all the bits that you don't agree with, that don't make sense, that aren't fair even.
Your relationship with your dad is going to get a million times better when you hit year eleven and you're more adult, he's just looking out for your interests, that's why he pushes you so hard. Talk to him, don't hide away. He seems harsh but he's so sure that you're going to be something fantastic. Contrary to popular belief you will thank him when you're older.
Don't get disheartened because the school you go to will never acknowledged your hard work, you're going to surpass even your own expectations of yourself. But don't get slack, you'll have to work hard to get there.
Don't drink at your cousins engagement party, save yourself the trouble. Just take my word for it.
To be honest there isn't a whole lot of things that I need to tell you, it's the journey so far that's made you who you are and that's how it will continue to be. You'll make good and bad decisions but they'll lead you to where you want to go. You just need to be more confident in yourself.
Have a nice life,
From the future you.
I tag Crystal and Samantha.

I love the bit about your dad.
And of course the part about you becoming a doctor.
:)
Much love.
I thought of a whole bunch of other stuff but came to the conclusion that I'm glad I didn't know most of it then, it would have made the last last few years boring.
And AHHH!!! I'm so excited, I can't wait for the third of march.
Your is pretty good! This will take me some time, I'll spend the day writing it and post it this afternoon! Thanks sweet, have a good one;)
I'm now incredibly curious about your cousin's wedding of course!!!
Oh boy... that sticks out in my mind as the stupidest thing I've ever done haha.
It's still to painful to share HAHA
I think we all have one or more of those kinds of stories in our past...Anyway, I just came over to thank you again for the meme tag. I haven't thought about some of the things I thought about last night in over 20 years...Just goes to show that every once in a while we all need to take a moment to reflect..Thank you for allowing me to share that moment and be apart of yours;o)
No problem at all, was a pleasure to read yours.
I like reflecting, it's a good way to understand your past and give meaning to your future.
Excellent - I too had been tagged with this one.
I loved your letter.... and thanks for the tag. At first, I wasn't sure WHAT I would or should say to myself, but in the end... it turns out I had way more to say than I ever imagined. Fun, and therapuetic. Thanks. =)
